About Courtney
I have been tutoring students for over a year in law school subjects and in preparation for the bar exam. I graduated in the top 10% of my law school class at Golden Gate University School of Law. I went on to pass the California Bar Exam on my first attempt.
I am now a practicing attorney specializing in real estate litigation.
I got started teaching while in law school. I was a teaching assistant for two different professors in law school, and found I had a passion for helping students. I really enjoyed being able to work through practice problems with them and see how they improved over the course of our time working together.
I completed my J.D. at Golden Gate University School of Law. I graduated in the top 10% of my law school class and went on to pass the California Bar Exam on my first try. During law school I was a teaching assistant for two separate classes, which allowed me to hone my skills in teaching law related subjects.

I first like to talk with a student on the phone for 10-15 minutes before we meet for our initial lesson. This allows for both of us to ask questions to ensure we are the best fit for each other. This also allows for me to ensure that I am the best tutor for the student in that I have the knowledge to help them with the questions they have.

Details
I charge $50/hour for my tutoring services. I also have a 12 hour cancellation policy, which means a lesson must be cancelled at least 12 hours in advance or the student will be charged the full price for the lesson they cancelled.
