Elizabeth has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter who had been given an opportunity to take a GCSE in Latin via an outside school. She had received only an hour lesson a week and realised that she was not likely to do well in the exams.

Elizabeth worked with her weekly starting approximately 3 months prior to the exams. I noticed weekly improvement with understanding of Latin and greater confidence in applying correct endings to words.
Elizabeth would send a detailed summary of the lesson and extra helpful resources or materials, some of which are still stuck to her bedroom wall.

In a recent test she scored as high as the top of the class. Her level improved greatly, but so did her confidence.

I highly recommend Elizabeth. Easy to communicate with, very responsive, flexible and effective.
I would choose her again, and probably start even sooner!

Elizabeth has been teaching me Latin on an ad-hoc basis for some time now, and has been an excellent teacher. Her lessons are clear and well structured. At the end of each lesson, she gives me comprehensive write up so I can review everything we covered and track my progress.

She makes learning enjoyable and is very patient with me, and I’ve been surprised by how much I’ve improved. I’d highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Latin in a supportive, patient and organised way.
