About Darla
Certified as a Master Level instructor in both Western and English with the certified horsemanship Association. Teaching experience of 45 years for beginners to Advanced. Also specialize and Clinics for certification of riding instructors as well as desensitization clinics apps for horse owners and teaching Cowboy dressage.
Seeing the success of the riders on my horses or on their own and knowing that their partnership with each other has grown greatly.
Highest level of Master and clinician with Certified Horsemanship. Association. Grew up with the greats like Ray Hunt, the Dorance Brothers and mentorship of a Colonel who was retired from the US Cavalry. Fair, firm treatment and deep understanding of the instinctive traits, natural needs and learning process of horses.

I am available during the week as well as weekends. I can set up a private lesson or come to your facility for multiples or you can haul your horses to my facility. I can teach up to a group of three or four on my horses or like to keep it at 10 or less with a specialty Workshop. Desensitization, communicative ground handling, beating the Fear Factor, or a specialized Workshop or clinic to meet your needs.

Perfect! Darla has been AWESOME! She really understands horses, and has taught me a lot already.
Perfect! Darla is wonderful and has so much knowledge about horses and learning to be a equestrian. She has taught my daughter so much in such a short time. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a great trainer.
Perfect! Darla was wonderful, so patient and knowledgeable. After two failed attempts to find a good trainer , third time was the charm. She is great to work with and my daughter loves her.

Darla has worked with myself, my 8 year old grand-daughter and my friends. Safety is Darla's priority. She is an excellent judge of horse and rider. She has suitable horses for all ages and experience levels. Her lessons are fun and enlightening. I highly recommend Darla.
Darla is a phenomenal instructor with years of experience. She is calm, patient and able to teach all levels of riders. She is also fun and a joy to be around. I highly recommend her and love taking lessons with her!
Overall fun and I learn a lot about horses while I learn to ride.
