About Donita
I am incredibly passionate about history in general! I have my bachelors in history and a masters in international relations, and I have plans on going for a PhD in history with the goal to teach! I want students to understand the important fundamentals of historical thought and events, and help make it exciting for them! I have successfully led students to success and an increased love of history, so I would like to continue doing that!
I have a bachelors in History and a Master's in International Relations. I also worked as a tutor at my junior college and was the lead tutor for History and Political Science, plus I also tutored in English and Anthropology. I also did freelance work with many elementary school children as well.

I work to get to know the student first. I am very patient with them, so I'd like to get to understand them and know their temperament. Plus I would like to see what their frustrations are and how I can help them work through that, whether it's through analysis, writing, interpreting, etc. We then come up with a game plan and I work with their needs and learning style to ensure that it is successful for everyone.
