About Kevin
I have taught all levels/types of students over the last few years, and have experience as a professional sub for Rodney Jones (head of jazz guitar at The Juilliard School). I specialize in jazz, rock, blues, and funk; however, I have plenty of experience playing pretty much all styles of guitar. I have toured in many bands (including ones that have opened for The Allman Brothers Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and several others).
Other than playing music, teaching music is just about my favorite thing to do. When my students are interactive and really passionate about learning their interests, it really gives me so much joy to help them out on their musical journey.
I have studied jazz at the college level.

I find out their interests and we discuss how/what exactly they'd like to learn so I can be as helpful as possible. I also diagnose them and find out what might be holding them up in whatever they're trying to accomplish.

Kevin is as great of a teacher as he is a player, which is really saying a lot.
