When it comes to guitar students, i always begin by starting off with the bare basics such as open chords and just generally familiarizing the students with the guitar itself.
For students wishing to learn Garageband or Logic Pro, I start by showing my students the ins and outs of how the software itself works, and then delving in deeper from there as the students becomes more comfortable.
Ive worked with students with little to no experience ranging from 8-30 years old.
