About Gerard
Have you heard of the movie "Barbie"? My name is Gerard McHugh and I wrote the song "Thin Line" for the Indigo Girls who are now enjoying worldwide success due to their appearance on the soundtrack of the supercool 2023 Adventure/Comedy film "Barbie". I am also an award-winning band director of children grades 7 through 12.
I have been writing and performing songs and teaching music in all styles and genres of music professionally for 42 years throughout the Southeastern and Midwestern United States.
