About Lee
50 yrs a. Golfer. Understand that as we age our bodies cannot do what we used to do so fluidly n with grace. Play the game for the joy of it. The beauty of golf is that it's a game which can be enjoyed at any age and is a terrific way to spend time in the sunshine and with fellow golfers. I'm not sure whether its only good folk are drawn to golf, or whether it's golf that makes peoole better. Regardless, it's hard to find a better way to spend quality time.
Living in Southeren California we're blessed with near year round perfect golfing weather. One of our many blesssings. Golf is a game in which you cn enjoy comraderie with friends, or, on that rare occasion when the course is slow, play a round by yourself, just you and the course, and the never ending challenge of the game.It can be a team sport or a solitary one where you commune only with yourself and the Golf Gods. Showing folks how to play their best game, and fully enjoy their time on the fiarways and greens, is rewarding and fun. Andthe reason to play golf is to have fun.
My college roommate was on the golf team and asked me kto join him on the driving range one day. I said "Sure, why not" and the rest is my history. I got bit by the golf bug that day and have lived with it ever since. I hacked around, got frustrated by hitting balls in every direction but where I wanted, took a series of lessons, and established a single digit handicap within the first year. Then I graduated and went to work, and my game, a game which requires lots of time and practice, suffered. I've kept my game up, not the high profile it once was, but have learned the basics and what to look for, do, and not do. My focus is on golfers, age 50 and up, who want to play for fun and enjoyment, and realize they can never attain the near perfection of the PGA pros watched on weekends. And understand, the words golf and perfection are mutually exclusive terms.
