Experienced tutor in Golf in Aurora, Dennis offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

I enthusiastically endorse Dennis Murray as a golf instructor. I have had numerous lessons over the years, and he is by FAR the best teacher I have ever encountered. He is encouraging, passionate and helpful. What I like the best about Dennis is he finds a way to make your game better immediately. Most golf teachers require that you go backwards for a while to change your swing. Dennis embraces where you are and drives improvement from Day 1. I like him so much, in fact, that I asked him to teach my 3 sons this summer. He did not disappoint and improved every single one of them, including my oldest son who told me “he is terrible at golf”. He simply makes everyone better and does it with a smile. Don’t think anymore, call Dennis!!!

Coach Murray's approach to the mental side of golf is just what I was looking for in a golf coach. He shared insight and tips to improve my game while keeping it enjoyable. Thanks Coach Murray

I was impressed by the approach Dennis has in working on the mental aspect of my game. He blends that with the physical aspects of my swing to create an understandable package.

I was ready to give up on golf, was so frustrated I was ready to quit. Had taken lessons from many teachers and continually got worse not better. Every golf pro told me something different about swing method and I got so confused-all I did was think, think, think and play slowly and terribly. I found Dennis Murray on this website and everything about my golf game changed for the better the day we met. I'm now playing the best golf of my life, still being coached by Dennis Murray and still getting better. Thanks Coach Murray!

As a female beginner I was nervous about embarrassing myself. Although I knew very little about golf, Dennis Murray's nurturing spirit set me at ease immediately. His calming presence made me relax and feel welcome at Valley Country Club right from the start. He provided nearly new golf clubs for me to use during the lessons and loaned me a golf club with a special grip to help me learn the proper positioning of my hands on the club. He drove me around the golf course and gave me an education on basic aspects of the game, including how to drive the golf cart, where to drive and not drive, the differences between the tees, fairways, rough and greens as well as rules and etiquette concerns that I needed to know as a beginner. Dennis Murray is an amazing Coach for anyone wanting to learn the game or improve. He made the lessons fun, taught me how to practice properly between lessons and gave me the confidence needed to go for it! I can't imagine taking lessons from anyone but Dennis. After 8 lessons I was playing on the golf course with my own clubs, playing at a fast pace and having so much fun I couldn't believe it. I am still taking lessons from Coach Murray and still improving. Thank you Dennis! You are the BEST!

Dennis Murray is an extraordinary golf instructor for many reasons. One reason is everyone that seeks his advice on their golf game gets what they paid for. He always listens to his students and takes their information to help them get what they want. Over the years he has improved my game from being a weekend warrior to having a golf game that will travel because I break 80 most of the time on most golf courses and I'm in my 60's. Having referred many of my friends to Coach Murray, I know for a fact he helped every one of them play a better game of golf. He seems to have the uncanny ability to fix several problems in a person's golf swing by fixing the "right" thing and the rest just kinda happens.' Most of all my friend Dennis Murray cares more about teaching beginners than any great teacher I've ever seen. Entry level teachers teaching entry level golfers is bad for the game. No one needs an expert more than a beginner, but most beginners seem to gravitate to teachers that are beginners at teaching. Won't work out for you. So, if you are a beginner and want to learn right and do it fast, pay the extra money and go to Coach Murray ... you'll be glad you did.

Dennis Murray is the best golf coach on the planet. I was such a hacker. Couldn't hit ball out of my shadow. In a short period of time with Coach "Murph" my drives were 50 yards longer, irons 20 yards longer and I was breaking 80 all the time. I love holf becsuse of my Coach and great friend "Murph."
