About Leeanne
I believe that learning should feel empowering—and enjoyable!—without the strain of burnout. As a University of Toronto undergraduate, managing a heavy workload has become second nature, and these skills can be easily transferred through tutoring.
With experience both in and outside of classrooms, as a school tutor, teacher’s assistant, writing competition participant and judge, I have come to understand how student needs fluctuate with age, background, and lifestyle. I aim to eliminate any power dynamic between student and tutor. Learning is a team effort!

The goal of my tutoring is to foster an environment where students feel confident with their skill set, and comfortable maximizing their potential over time. Each session will include a rotation of activity, personalized study time, and curriculum-based school preparation. Lessons will always aim to suit the specific needs of each individual, and each small achievement is treated as a success. Applying skills past the grade-level requirements can be encouraged as well!
I tend to be available Tuesday / Thursday / Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
