About Seth

My goal is to make sure you have an actionable plan. Not sure what you want to do? That's okay. We'll figure it out.

Throughout my career, I have assisted hundreds of students with post-secondary transitions.

Through student-centered relationships, together, we will navigate the college application process and financial aid. This can include:

- Editing essays (for colleges and scholarships)

-Completing financial aid documents,

-Review financial aids

-Navigate follow-up to complete final steps.

LinkedIn Profile: (concealed information)

It all started as a graduate psychology student. I began working at a nationally recognized education non-profit in New York City. There, I served students in the College Sucess Office. I knew then that my educational and professional experiences were meant to assist students with transitioning to adulthood.

Continuing education includes conferences and workshops to keep up-to-date on best practices.

This includes interfacing with college admission and financial aid representatives, Federal Student Aid, and community-based college access professionals.

Typically, I like to know what students are interested in- what are their long-term goals and needs.

Next, we explore institutions that fit their personality and interests. Then we move on to developing your story to leverage in your application.

My students come from varied backgrounds and abilities- much like a college campus!

Some are first-generation some are not.

Some earn a 4.0-plus GPA, and others are struggling to pass.

Some come ready to apply to college in tenth grade, and others are ready to plan their future in April of their senior year.

Some are involved in multiple extracurricular activities, others work nearly full-time, and some go straight to and from school.

Additionally, I have worked with students enrolled in college in an attempt to navigate the psychological, financial, and academic needs on campus.

Someone in this area should be open to what the student needs. It is not our job to decide for the student but to advise, advocate, and guide.

The excitement and relief students express when the hard work pays off. Also, the determination displayed when things don't work out quite as they anticipated.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How do I link my goals to my previous and current experiences?

What part does my circle play in meeting my needs?

What am I most afraid of during this process?

What do I want people to know about me?
