About Bobbi
First and foremost, I am so excited to work with my future students and their family to help you all achieve your goals! As a current medical school student, former curriculum development coordinator, and graduate mentor, I know how important it is to not only teach someone but figure out what makes my students tick! What has worked for you in the past? What has not? Who are you as a person and what kind of learner are you? These are among the few crucial questions I like to ask before we get started on our learning journey together.
I believe that learning can be fun as well as flexible. With that being said here is a simple breakdown of how I plan to get your child started:
o Questionnaire – Who are you?
§ This is how I will initially assess a student and parents’ expectations as well as get to know everyone involved in this learning journey.
o Meet and Greet – Get to know me!
o Evaluation of test scores (i.e., SAT/ACT practice exams, scores), school work, school exams
§ From here I can evaluate your child’s current status as a learner
o Review curriculum guidelines your child will need to adhere to and develop learning objectives
o Scheduling/ planning – I want the learning experience to be fun AND flexible because we may need to adjust to meet your child’s goal(s)!
My passion is mentorship, teaching, and making others feel confident and capable – so why not combine the things I am passionate about?!
