About Dayna
With focuses on grammar and syntax, I also aim to ensure that your child has a firm grasp on the text they are analyzing or the topic that they wish to write about for their assignments.
I recieved my degree in English/Language Arts Teaching from Central Washington University.
I have always had a passion for helping others unferstand concepts and ideas. One of the aspects about teaching that I really enjoy is having one on one discussions to ensure that the student fully understands what they are trying to accomplish.
I received my degree in English/Language Arts Teaching from Central Washington University on June 2019.
Currently, I am a substitute teacher for the Yakima School District and East Valley School District in Yakima,WA.

First, I'll ask the student what they do understand about the text or assignments while also inquiring what they don't comprehend. After solidifying what needs to be targeted, I'll provide different strategies of explaining the concept while implementing exercises for memorization. Finally, we'll go over the concept one final time to see if the student fully grasps the concept before moving on.
