About Teri
I am a certified English teacher and Reading Specialist. I have over 25 years experience in the classroom. I also taught online school in the evenings. I love helping my students succeed in English and Reading.
I love teaching, especially reading and Language Arts. I taught many different age groups, and I enjoyed all of them. I am going on year 27 of teaching in a public school. In my tenure, I have implemented development reading programs to help students having difficulty, and I have challenged students to reach their potential. It is a very rewarding career.
I always loved reading and wanted to share my excitement with students. I studied Education/English in college and went on to get a Master's of Education with a concentration in reading.
I am a certified English teacher and Reading Specialist. I have over 25 years of teaching experience.

I would assess the student's learning style and strengths and weaknesses. I would customize our tutoring session based on that student's needs.
I teach 7th grade English/Reading.
I taught cyberschool to 10th and 11th grade.
I taught ESL to students aged 4-10 for an online company.
I would recommend getting a well qualified teacher who you like to work with.
My family took a trip to Portugal for my son to play on a national team.

Students should discuss their strengths and weaknesses with their teachers. I also have students complete a learning style inventory in the beginning of the year to assess their learning style.
