About McKaela
I have been tutoring since I was in high school myself, and enjoy helping students to become the best versions of themselves by boosting their confidence in themselves and their subject matter. I work as a teacher during the school year and take on more students over summer break when my schedule opens up.
I have worked as a math tutor for school districts in the K-5 age group for upwards of 8 years, and for the past 5 years have worked with middle school through college age students on a wider variety of subjects ranging from science to history to English. I have also worked as an elementary school homeroom teacher, teaching all subjects outside of fine arts.

The first 1-2 sessions will usually be 'test period' where I get to know the student and see which techniques they are most receptive to while we work through the basics to get an idea of their struggle zones. Afterwards we will begin working through topics of difficulty piece by piece.
