About Chelsey
I am certified teacher currently working towards a masters in Education. I graduated from Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School as a writing major in high school and continued to pursue literary arts in my undergraduate studies at The New School.
Most recently, I worked as a humanities teacher at Middle School for the Performing Arts in the South Bronx. Previously, I taught Regents Prep ELA at the high school level for the Summer in the City program. Beyond the classroom, I have tutored privately at the college level for the past ten years and enjoy the focus that one-on-one sessions allow for.

This diagnostic assessment allows me to identify the students’ strengths as a writer as well as areas for growth.
