About Maggie
I have always been passionate about writing. From research reports, persuasive papers, creative and fictional writing, and other forms of analysis, I enjoy both writing my own as well as reading others' work. I believe that everyone is a gifted thinker, and sometimes it takes some extra help to form these thoughts into cohesive, streamline sentences. That is an art and a process of which I love to be a part.
I graduated from Hamilton College in 2021, an elite Liberal Arts Instituion with an intense emphasis on writing skills -- an education which provided me with the opportunity to develop my critical thinking through writing in every facet of my academic career.
During my undergraduate years, I worked for my college's career center, where I was a peer advisor. This position entailed teaching fellow students about resume and cover letter development, but a large amount of the work consisted of supporting students in strengthening their writing (such as through networking emails and cover letters).

I would like to begin by getting to know the student, their work style, as well as what they are like outside of the classroom. In order to support them as a writer, it is jmportsnt to see them as more than just a student, but as a whole person. It is also important that I know what their work ethic is like -- whether they tend to procrastinate, or if they are more likely to get started on assignments early. No judgment will be cast for either response!
