About Jaqueline
I have a background in helping students with English and History. I've worked with students to help them become confident writers; looking over essays, assisting in the brainstorming process, and taking the anxiety out of the writing process. I work with students step by step and achievable goals. Whether it's college essays, admissions essays, or high school classes, I can help your student enhance his or her writing skills.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Minor in English Journalism from Loyola Marymount University. I completed my Masters of Arts in Specialized Journalism at the University of Southern California.

In a first meeting with a student I like to start with goal setting. What projects are they working on? What is their ultimate goal with our meetings? What can I do to help them in this process? Typically we do a a project we are working on; depending on the length of the project (if it's an paper due in a week or a college admission essay due in three months) we work toward completing that piece of work in our time together.
