About Erika
My passion for teaching children has always been at my highest level of priorities. I enjoy teaching children because I get to help them achieve their goals. I help by listening and understanding the immediate need and work to create plan that helps your child succeed. I have been a teacher for the past five years, teaching at Union Settlement, and The Goddard. I have a Bachelor's degree in Science. As a mother, I know first hands how difficult it can be trying to teach your child and take care of other things that may need your attention. This year with the pandemic, I experienced some difficult times. My family and I have had to make new adjustments with our daily routines. However I allowed myself to get the extra helping hands I needed to be able to overcome these obstacles. I mean, no one gave us a guide on how to work from home and be the teachers assistant.
Statics say this year families all across the broad, experienced lots of new changes within their daily routines; many needing extra help.
