About Alexandros
I always strive to align my teaching methods to each student's needs. I seek to create a safe and yet rigorous learning environment. That way, studying becomes fun and enjoyable, rather than a dull and mandatory experience you have to go through.
What I enjoy the most when working as a teacher is the satisfaction of helping a student achieve their goals. It gratifies me beyond words to see my students thrive because of my guidance.
I first started my career as an educator with the teaching assistant position at the City College of New York. I provided support to a lead professor in charge of a mandatory studio course that second-year architecture students take. I collaborated with the lead professor in recognizing issues students are facing and recommended solutions. I tutored individual students or small groups on critical design methods and tools. Lastly, I guided students in developing their design projects while ensuring that they learn all the necessary material.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelors's degree in Philosophy, and I expect to graduate by December 2021. Before that, I studied architecture for three years. I have one year of academic teaching experience and another year of private tutoring.

I first try getting to know my students personally. I seek to learn what are their strengths and weaknesses, what they enjoy, and how they express themselves. This allows me to adjust my teaching methods to best suit the student's needs.
I have primarily worked with college students as a teaching assistant at the City College of New York. I have also privately tutored kids from the age of 14 to 17.
I would advise the student to meet with the teacher before hiring them. This will allow the student to converse and interact with the teacher. From there, the student can make an educated evaluation of their experience with the teacher before spending any money.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I believe that a student should first think through their goals. From there, they can ask their teacher how to achieve these goals and which path may be more appropriate for them.
