During my eight years of teaching, I taught students from Pre-K - 12th grade in all subject areas. I am NYS certified in English Language Arts Education 7-12. In addition, my professional teaching experience includes LETRS training on phonological awareness - phonemes, onset-rime, shyme, syllables, phonics, etc. As a Special Education Teacher, I taught students with delays in the areas of reading, writing, vocabulary, comprehension, along with many others, and I am well-equipped with the strategies and skills necessary to teach reading and English.
