About Marian
Unlike most teachers who have spent years in a classroom with 20+ kids, I had the pleasure of spending 25 years in a one-on-one classroom with my own children. All of my children have now entered into careers that allow them to be assets to their community. I want to see your child succeed they way mine have. I have a child in law enforcement, one who owns her own music studio, a child who is in sales and marketing for orthodontics, and beyond! I love the one on one approach! It allows the student the time they need to really comprehend what it is we are trying to learn and this way I am also able to cater to their specific needs.
I love being the best part of someone's day. We have all had those moments in life where learning new things can be diffcult. To see someone walk out of our private session where they now walk a littel straighter and their head held high wis what I aim for. I want to empower our young people to feel confident and take pride in themselves and their achievments!
It was important to me for my own children to have the best education possible, so that they would be able to do whatever their hearts desired as they grew older. After much debate and thought, I decided to home school my kids knowing that no one would be able to give them the much needed time and attention to all aspects of their schooling like I would.

Our first appointment will be myself and the student getting to know each other and going over the initial concerns that have brought them to me for tutoring. I understand that now all students are the same and everyone learns in a different way. Most often just getting to understand how someone learns can make all the difference in how they are able to improve upon their difficult subjects. It is important for me to see my students succeed, set goals, and see those goals be reached!
I have worked with all types of students with different needs and backgrounds. Being a physical therapist has allowed to me work with students with all types of disabilities ranging from autism and down syndrome to dislexia.
