She has a passion for social justice and throughout the year, she serves as a Diversity Facilitrainer with the National Conference for Community & Justice (NCCJSTL). Andrea is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Her “loves” are: 1) family & friends, 2) softball, 3) roller coasters, and 4) travelling/road tripping. She also enjoys smiles ☺!
I love helping students attain that "win" moment. The "win" moment is when a student is struggling with a concept, but then it all becomes clear. It's such an empowering experience.

With new students, I like to find out their goals and what they perceive is hindering them from reaching their goal. I also like to discuss if the tutoring sessions are specific for growing one's understanding of certain skills or for a grade in class. Those two different outcomes require different approaches.

She helped my daughter get through 5 years of math on all levels with an A. She was available at anytime. She explains the problems very easily. She was very helpful, professional, caring, a listener. I would use her again and again.
