About Lauren
I am a results-driven educator with a passion for literature. I enjoy analyzing, deciphering, and interpreting different types of composition in order to create meaningful discussions that extend beyond the classroom.
I have been a middle school English Language Arts teacher for four years at The Red Bank Charter School. I graduated from Ramapo College with a degree in Literature and a certification in Secondary Education, and Social Studies.
I am a Level 1 Google Educator, and am knowledgable in all things Google. I am also certified in Sheltered English Instruction where I learned how to successfully teach remotely to ensure active student learning and engagement.
I enjoy teaching English because it's special- it gives students a voice. Words are powerful devices: they're tools that influence people, and things that instigate change in the world. I enjoy showing students the power of language by teaching them important works of literature in a wide range of different texts and styles in the hopes that they can successfully learn their own writing styles.

Lauren is fabulous!! A+++! She is patient, understands how to teach someone from the ground up and is always so well prepared for each session. She shares examples that relatable and takes time to ensure you understand. She cares so much about seeing growth throughout each session and teaching others is truly her #1 passion in life!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ms. Good for any help with reading and writing skills. She helped my son feel comfortable reading aloud, which has been a huge struggle for him over the years.
