About Julia
My husband and I taught both in the US and overseas, and have tutuored students of different ages, grade levels, cultures, socioeconomics, curriculums, and abilities. We both have teaching credentials and graduate level degrees (MA and PhD), and are ourselves parents. We enjoy helping students reach their greatest potential, and strive to instill in our students a hunger for learning.

When working with a new students, I will ask a few questions to target what the students goals are during the tutoring sessions. Next, I will do a few informal pre-assessments with the student to analyize their strengths and weaknesses. From there, I will map out a learning plan based on the amount of time the student has to acheive their goals.
