Welcome to LJR, where everyone can write! Nestled in the heart of Evansville, IN, I specialize in literature, reading, and writing tutoring. As a one-woman show, I bring a personalized touch to each session, ensuring every learner feels confident and excited about their literary journey. I've been tutoring for close to seven years professionally and have a bachelor's degree in English from USI.
I started out tutoring at Ivy Tech Community College in 2018. I did various things there. I met some wonderful people, did some amazing projects, and had a blast.
I have five years in experience in tutoring plus a BA in creative writing.

Once I get a sense of a new students process I will look over their guidelines for their assignment and see how far they have gotten. Then I will discuss where they want the project or piece to end up and help guide them in the correct direction.
I have worked with mostly college leveled students. However, those same students were all over in their abilities in English; some were barely past high school learning, while others were way beyond the class they were currently in.
