I like to get to know my student and figure out what he or she needs the most help in, then taking care of that and moving on from there. Typically I work with a group of students doing homework and study help, but I have experience in one on one. I like to lead students to the answers without outright giving it away but jogging the student's memory on say what step comes next or referring to a skill he or she already knows which can be applied.
