About Connor
I am a certified Reading Specialist and elementary teacher with 20+ years of teaching experience. My strength is building connections with students. Reviews are available on request, and my Reading Specialist certification is below. Also, I am dedicated and goal-driven. The materials in our lesson are research-based to my work and am highly motivated to support students in achieving their reading goals. How can I partner with you to educate your child? The first step is to learn about the student and the tutoring need. First, I discuss the child and his or her situation with the parent. Next, an initial meeting occurs in which I get to know the student and provide a short assessment. At the end of the first session, I meet with the parent to discuss the results and determine a plan of action.

Ben has been instrumental in getting my first grade son excited about reading - which is something I could not do on my own. Not only is he excited, but my son is excelling at reading. My son looks forward to his time with Ben. Ben always challenges him to his full potential, and continues to help him grow and learn. I also love the portal that Ben uses which allows me to see what my son has accomplished during his session and gives me tools to continue working with him in between sessions.
