When working with new students first I like to assess the student's current grasp of the english language. Once I understand the student's fluency level I adapt my own conversational language to their skill level so that I'm clearly understood and so the student can communicate clearly as well. We then establish goals together and a timeline for achieving those goals. I will create a lesson plan based in the students skills and goals and work one on one with the student. Occasionally I will contract translators as needed at no additional charge to the client.
