About Magdalene
Most of my family members are teachers. It always inspired me to help young people and showing them that learning can be a fun experience!
I am a German native speaker and I am holding a bachelor`s degree in teaching from the University of Bamberg, Germany. My major was English and my minors were German, mathematics and art education. For more than 5 years working in elementary school, I provided effective classroom management, creative lesson plans and detailed student evaluations. Although I was mainly teaching in 3rd and 4th grade, I am also certificated to teach in 1st and 2nd grade. During the past years of as a teacher I was also able to gain experience in teaching remedial classes for German and teaching English as a second language. Furthermore, other responsibilities of mine included tutoring different age groups with homework and supporting young teachers during their teacher training.
