About Aidan
In my undergraduate, I made all the mistakes that are necessary to improve as a writer, editor and thinker. By the end of my schooling, I had an easy handle on the academic writing format. In addition, my current work as an educator has made me patient and able to work with kids who have varying needs.

First, get to know the student: what are they passionate about inside and outside of their schooling? Find their strengths. Second, figure out what parts of their studies they are struggling with, identify room for improvement and together create a plan for working on those problems.
I've worked with students who vary from independent and self directed to those that require more attention and help. Some of my past students have shown symptoms of special needs, and I'm able to accommodate that kind of thinking.
My last workshop in the high arctic town of Tuktoyaktuk was a great experience. We worked with the kids to make a movie about the little green men who are said to live in the surrounding pingos. Moreover, we bonded with the kids in our class, which meant that our teachings were that much more impactful.
