About Simone
I have taught 4th and 5th grade English Language Arts for the last 3 years in a public charter school in DC. I have worked closely with 7th and 8th graders to improve the writing techniques and essay structures prior to applying to high school. My primary focus for my younger students has been about the importance of writing, these are skills that my students are continuing to refine every day.
I have my Undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. I am a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.
Forming connections with my students and really getting to know who they are as people and what their interests are.
