About Tyler
I love engineering and am nearing the end of my undergraduate in aeropsace engineering. I am enrolled in a Master's program to continue my education, and am looking towards a Ph.D. in the future.
I have worked as a tutor at a local university for 1.5 years now, tutoring the most rigorous sophomore - senior level aerospace engineering courses.
It is incredibly fulfilling to feel like you are making a difference in the success of a student. Many people try very hard to comprehend subjects, only to realize that the subject matter was intuitive all along! I love helping people unlock this realization so that they feel the same love and passion about engineering that I do.

Generally, you may find a root as to why a student is not comprehending a subject. When tutoring, I first attempt to identify the key aspects of a problem that the student should understand, then work to help them build intuition and truly understand the fundamental workings of the problem and the solution.
Due to my tutoring experience and the nature of the center I work at, I can confidently say that I have worked with nearly every type of student. I have worked with a large diversity of students, leading to my teaching style.
Ratings do not mean much, but rather it is important that you find the tutor who clicks with your personality and learning style.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
As someone with extensive experience in several teaching roles, I can say that it is most important that you show your teacher/professor that you have tried. Time and time again, students beg for help but do not have progress to show! If you approach with questions involving specific topics, faculty members can be incredibly helpful!
