About Nathan
Hi! My name is Nathan Macdonald. I have been working as a mechanical engineer for over 10 years, am a licensed professional engineer and a certified safety professional. As an engineer I work in new product development, analysis (often of amusement park rides) and expert witness work in product liability and patent litigation.
In addition to my work as an engineer I love to teach! I am a certified trainer for operators of forklifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, and MEWP's. I also love to teach in math, engineering, programming (numerical methods and microcontrollers mostly), and more! I enjoy seeing somebody's eyes light up when otherwise challenging concepts suddenly start to click. I am patient and accommodating and can come at the same subject matter from a variety of angles until we find something that works for you.
