About Michaela
I am Michaela, a passionate educator with a strong commitment to enhancing student well-being and nurturing a love for learning. My journey in education, highlighted by my roles at education publishing and edTech company, Edrolo, has equipped me with a wealth of experience in designing curriculum-aligned educational resources across a range of subjects. I worked on VCE teams as well as a Junior Humanities team.
As a dedicated private tutor, I've had the privilege of guiding students through their learning journeys, adapting my methods to meet their individual needs, including those with diverse learning abilities. As an experienced private tutor, I specialise in creating personalised learning experiences tailored to the unique needs of each student. With experience tutoring students of diverse ages and abilities, including those with severe anxiety and ASD, I ensure a supportive and adaptive learning environment. My teaching methodology is centered around identifying the most effective learning strategies for each student during the initial sessions, whether it be visual, auditory, or hands-on learning. My qualifications, aside from my tertiary studies in Linguistics and Geography, include significant experience in private tutoring and a deep understanding of various Junior and Senior curricula, bolstered by my work with an education resource publishing company.
