About Karen
Inspired by my Christian Faith I love inspiring those new to painting and drawing. Much focus is placed on the fundamental elements in my teaching to equip the student for their own creativity.
I began teaching after realizing that I wanted to share my knowledge with those who are as passionate about Art as I am.

Introduction to acrylic painting consists of different types of brushes and how to use them while learning how to apply the paint. Introduction to drawing consists of learning how to see things in life and recreating with pencil or charcoal.
I have worked with all types of students. Adults, children as well as special needs.
Be sure to look for someone that you feel comfortable with and that will allow your own unique talents to shine.
I love doing large events as well as everyone follows along as we recreate a painting all togeather. A recent event was a fundraiser raising money for a Missions Program.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about where they wish their learning to take them. DO they want to just have a hobby or are they looking to make Art a career.
