Her class is made up of a brief, practical and meaningful lesson, and then lots of time for self painting. The atmosphere of her studio is great...friendly, fun, but also peaceful and relaxing, a very conducive environment for painting. Sheryl spends time with each student individually on the development of their painting, no matter what stage, and gives positive guidance on how to make it a better painting. She is comfortable and effective at evaluating all styles of painting, from abstract to realism, pallet knife or brush. I have token lessons from Sheryl for about 4 years and I can not believe the progress I have made as a painter in that time!
