We will start with basics. First will draw, then incorporate shadows. We will learn how to mix colors and how to arrange and take care of your Pallete. Then we will start with only 2 colors and add colors as I see improvement in my student skills.
We will paint Still life at first then building and nature. Then animals and human figures. All depends on the level of my students and their interests.
I prefer living object to change the 3D to 2D. However, you might be ask to copy original professional painting or have references from pictures.
Painting could be very meditative. I will paint or Draw with you to make as I teach, because I believe that observation is crucial for learning.
abstract Painting is not as much different, we will start with charcoal on paper and develop as you progress then incorporate different media. We still may analyze classic art or natural photos into modern and abstract style. When you are comfortable for the next level, I will require to use multi media.
I am open to give my critique advice on your current artworks.
