I have been taking private lessons from Aleksei for the past year and have been extremely happy with his instruction. He is an excellent teacher and a very talented dancer. All of his group classes are very enjoyable and his choreography is always a pleasure to learn. He is very knowledgeable in all styles of dances and is always eager to explain in detail any confusing steps. He's always prepared for his lessons and you can tell he put a lot of thought into each one. Aleksei has a very gentle manner and is very supportive in keeping his students happy. He pays special attention to details such as partner connection, footwork, and styling. Dancing with Aleksei is always a pleasure whether it be in a lesson, competition, or showcase. I took some classes in American Smooth. Aleksei's instructions and demonstrations were very clear. He taught many interesting figures. I loved it. I wish I have more time to take his classes. He is very kind and friendly. I recommend his classes to anyone who want to learn more about American Smooth.
