About Ishani
After my yoga teacher training in 1996, I discovered bellydance as the perfect compliment to my meditation practice.
I always begin my classes with 20-30 mins of gentle yogic stretching to ground and get in touch, then I focus on the basics of isolating rhythm and melody, respectively stimulating left and right brain, and balancing the entire nervous system.
I have been performing bellydance and fire dance professionally all over the world since 1999.
