About Kimberly
Barre Remedy was founded with a strong belief that everyone can benefit from the attributes of dance and movement. We introduce basic concepts of ballet and creative movement to both children and adults. It’s Ballet for EVERY BODY. I have over a decade of experience working with children and teaching, dedicating many years to continue my education in the art of dance. I am a certified ABT barre instructor, Progressing Ballet Technique Instructor and have undergone ballet training and teacher training provided by renowned professional dancers and teachers. I currently teach ballet, creative movement and floor barre classes.

I have a passion for sharing the beauty of dance and movement with students. There is nothing more rewarding than watching students blossom and grow as dancers gaining confidence and technique. Ballet training is a lifelong journey that benefits a person holistically, improving congnitive function, physical health and emotional wellbeing.
I am a member of the Idaho Dance Education Association, the National Dance Education Association, certified in Dancer Nutrition, Dancer Injury Prevention and Pointe Readiness Assesment. I am also a certified instructor with Progressing Ballet Technique as well as American Barre Technique.

Perfect! She walks me through everything and we stop and work through things that I have trouble with. She listens and makes sure to tell me to correct my technique and also tells me what I need to work on. She is very kind and I always learn a lot!

Very patient especially with my daughter, my daughter is super shy. Great class and great environment!
The flexibility in the schedule. Mrs. Johnson's patience with the students, and the history/knowledge that she shares with them as well.
My daughter has been attending youth Ballet lessons at Barre Remedy for about a year now, Kimberly just has the most amazing way with children. Dance is her passion and she wants to share her passion in teaching what she loves. Love her choreography and music selection, she also teaches history and terminology of dance in class too.
My girls are new to dance and they are loving it! They're learning the movements and the history behind them. It's been a great experience.
I love how Kimberly teaches, it comes naturally to her. I could not have a better instructor. Her personality shines with beautiful character! She share her passion through teaching performing arts from kids to adults.
My stepdaughter join the ballet class for the first time and it was very well put together we all loved it so much. and it was very afforded to join . My favorite part of it all was When the roses were given out at the end of the recital it was very one on one with the teacher and really thoughtful too end the night .
Loved everything about Barre Remedy, was a pleasure to have Kim as a teacher!
