Mark did an excellent job at one of my corporate events. We had a very laid back crowd and we weren't sure if the people would be engaged in the lesson. Mark did a great job at engaging the group once he started the lesson. He was very responsive and made sure to have all information needed beforehand.

Mark is a great dance instructor. We picked out our first dance song before he came to the house for our first lesson. He listened to our needs and made suggestions as we went alone. We ended up changing a few things to make the dance more interesting. He was also gladly to make adjustment for the music to suit our need. Toward the end , we just had enough time to finish our whole choreograph and not enough time to practice. We videotaped our rehearsal for him. He was very happy to provide quick to the point suggestions which proved to be extremely valuable to us. Our wedding was a destination wedding without wedding rehearsal. Everything had to fit in place in the right time. We followed his advice to practice on the wedding floor just once to get things settled in. Very glad that we did it. We received lot of cheers for our dance. It was a smooth and successful event. Thank you, Mark!

Mark is such a great dance teacher! He really puts in the time and effort to make your first dance amazing!! At our first lesson, we showed him the song we were interested in using and he got a feel for our level of experience to listen to the music and choreograph us a dance. At our next lesson, he made us this cute binder with all the information including our music, number of lessons, etc., it was super thoughtful. At every lesson, he was very mindful to not count the minutes and dismiss us exactly at 7 if we showed up at 6. He would work with us until we accomplished a good amount of choreography to practice at home. If this meant going over the 1 hour allotted time, he would stay and make sure we completed it. He is also not dead set on choreography, if there was something we did not like or preferred to change, he was very flexible with listening to us and changing it as necessary. Everyone at our wedding was so impressed with our dance and said it flowed so naturally. Our DJ even commented that he has never seen such an expert level/smooth dance (and he has DJ'd for a lot of weddings). Mark also cut our music for us to not make it too long. I would highly recommend Mark if you are looking for an affordable, easy going, super nice and experienced dance teacher for your first dance!

Mark was a fantastic instructor! We hired him to help us with our first dance at our wedding and he was able to put together a routine for us that was exactly what we were looking for. I didn't have any prior dance experience, but he was able to teach us and work within our abilities. He was even able to edit a song for us to make the routine the perfect length. Highly recommend!

This was essential because with a basic, meaning almost none, skill of dancing he had to be very patient with us. Mark was a delight to work with and had a great sense of humor along the way. We hired Mark to helped us learn a first dance for our wedding. He took everything into account, from what song we wanted, what styles of dance we wanted. We ended up learning waltz with some tango thrown in. Waltz was incredibly difficult, but he made it much easier to understand the steps. He even took into account my dress, which was very poofy, so i wouldn't have any moves that were hard to perform once i want just wearing shorts. He was also extremely affordable and happy to work with our schedules. Overall we would highly recommend hiring Mark for any dances you might want to learn!

We would recommend Mark to ANYONE!! We hired him to choreograph and teach us the waltz for our first dance for our wedding! We weren't the best students and didn't give him much time to teach us. On top of that, we chose a very difficult song and style of dance, especially for beginners. Mark was absolutely amazing to work with did such a great job on our dance. He was patient and understanding and was very flexible in working around our busy schedules. He is so worth the money and charged significantly less than other comparable studios. We had all the 1 on 1 time that our schedule would allow and completed the entire dance about a week before our wedding. Mark is very knowledgable in all sorts of dancing styles and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Mark was awesome. We're experienced country dancers, but we were looking to add some Latin to our repertoire. Mark listened to what we wanted, added his own suggestions, and focused on social dancing skills. We loved working with him. We will definitely come see him again after our South American trip! Mark came out to teach my fiancé and I a dance that we could do at our wedding. Because we were rushed with time he was willing to work with us and we were able to get two lessons of two hours in so we could squeeze it into our schedule. He was an amazing instructor, neither one of us could dance but he was able to make it look like we could in a very short period of time. He always came prepared with a plan but very seamlessly was able to change anything that we were not quite comfortable doing. Mark has been absolutely wonderful since day one. Not only is he an amazingly well-rounded and skilled dancer in various styles of dance but he is also extremely knowledgeable in how to teach it to others. We hired him when we decided we wanted to learn a dance, master the style, and then choreograph something for our wedding day. We love how he structured the lessons so that we really maximized our time and money. Unlike many dance instructors out there, Mark actually listened to us when we said we only want to learn two styles and master it. In each lesson he would teach us a handful of moves for us to practice as homework until the next time we met. By doing this, we maximized the time we were paying for to actually learning new things. Mark was a great dance instructor for me and my fiancés first dance at our wedding. Neither of us had any dance experience before starting our lessons with Mark. We cut it a little close to the wedding and only had time for 6 lessons. Mark taught us a unique routine to the song I had chosen for our first dance. Best of all it was really fun! Our guests were all very impressed.

We are still working with Mark and things are going great! He is choreographing our first dance for our wedding later this year. We are about half way done with the dance right now couldn't be happier with his training. I would recommend him to anyone!

Mark was so amazing! We had a few lessons with him to prepare for our wedding and he managed to teach us both a modified waltz and a more casual dance for our first song. I first met Mark when he asked me to dance at an event I was attending. I could immediately tell that he was an instructor by the way that he led me and made me move in ways I didn't think I could. I ended up taking private lessons with him and learned so much. I improved in bachata and salsa and was introduced to kizomba, tango, bachatango, and zouk. He is so patient and passionate about dancing. I always looked forward to his class and had lots of fun -- and we always tried something new. I appreciated when he would make sure to play my favorite song and tailor the lesson to my interests. I recently moved out of the state but am looking forward to dancing with him in the future. If you're a beginner or are looking to build upon what you already know, Mark is your guy.

Mark is an outstanding instructor. He is very respectful and patient with all his students. He has the ability to make the learning experience casual and comfortable especially for new students without sacrificing technique and structure. My wife and I attended his Salsa course for a short 9 months. In that time; we learned a great deal and learned it well. We were unable continue his course due to personal reasons but look forward to returning as soon as we're able to do so.

Mark showed up for my mom's surprise 75th birthday party. He communicated with me far in advance and then again in the days leading up to the party. He helped us roll up the carpet and led a few dance lessons in our dining room, which some of the ladies could participate in. The ones that didn't participate on their feet enjoyed the "show" and I think it brought back good memories for them of when they were in better health. The dancing was the right pace for this group of ladies and Mark was very patient and polite. It was a unique and unusual experience that my mom is still talking about! I would definitely request Mark again.

It was literally the week of my wedding and I started getting nervous about the first dance. My fiancé at the time.. now wife was a trained dancer growing up so I was like... UHHHHHHH.
