About Brenno
Hello! I’m Brenno Camurugy, a Brazilian living in Colorado with a passion for cooking.
Everything I know about food, I’ve learned working hard and with a lot of love for what I do.
I started to cook when I was 15 years old, but only when I turned 30 my eyes opened about what cooking really means to me.
Since then, food is a great part of my life.
In 2019 I started to study and to dedicate myself to learn Haute Cuisine.
Now I’m attending a Molecular Gastronomy course offered by Harvard University, in which I had classes with legends like Daniel Humm, Jose Andres, Ferran Adria and many other chefs.
Food for me is not only fuel for the body,
food is also fuel for people’s mind and soul. The quality of the ingredients is essencial, but the most important thing about cooking, is the quality of ideas.
That’s when The High Kitchen was born.
What we do here is to look at food with a critical eye and knowing that we can bring new flavors and experiences to people.
