About Rosanne
Cumpanis is a small Bronx-based food company working to empower Homecooks. We facilitated educational workshops as well as source, produce and distribute food locally.
I began teaching cooking workshops with families and young people in the non profit sector. I have sinced started my own cooking company.
I am a self taught Homecook and coined the definition that a Homecook is a cook that is guided by interest, curiosity, intuition, experience or passed down knowledge. I work to help students find their inner Homecook and gain Kitchen Confidence.

The first step is always to learn where the student is and what their aspirations are. Do you want help meal prep? Knife skills? Healthy cooking tips? Once I have a good idea of the students goal then we can design a program that meets their needs.
I have worked with a variety of students and ages. From children to the elderly and everything in between.
Pick an instructor whose style and cooking philosophy is one similar to yours or at least one you would like to adopt. Your cooking foundation is the most important part of your cooking journey.
Our hands on pizza workshop! Yeasted flat breads are one of my favorite workshops to teach, they are a lot of fun!
