About Karen
I have been a culinary instructor since 2010 teaching at Salud! Cooking School of Whole Foods Market, Super Suppers, Savory Spice Shop, and many other locations in the Middle Tennessee Area. My main area of interest is Asian cuisines but I have taught classes in various cuisines throughout my career. My most popular classes include Homemade Pasta, Sushi, Knife Skills, Basic Thai, Essentials of Indian Cuisine, Chinese Stir-Fry, Cookie Decorating, Macarons, and numerous Kids Classes. I offer private classes for individuals or small groups. Looking for something different for your next birthday party, girls' night out, or homeschooler? Give me a call. I have hundreds of classes ready to go or we can customize a class that is perfect for you.
I have a Masters Degree in Education and taught in the public schools for 15 years.
I have been a culinary instructor since 2010. I received my training at various culinary institutions around the world including Thailand, Vietnam, China, Morocco, France, and England.
