About Timothy
The ability to teach individuals programming and coding is such a joy of mine. Whether youre an individual who has a degree, a freelancer, or even someone who needs it for something small, I want to help all. Tutoring since I've graduated college, I have a wide variety of clients, old and young, diverse faces. I have a degree in computer science, but treat myself as I've never received, it my passion is coding, computers, and learning all that I can.
Working with a middle aged gentlman to help his family by adding a programming language to his skillset. He came as a complete novice, but now understands the syntax and can now code programs.
Working in the IT field as a data engineer allows me to have a first hand look at how technology changes the world. As, I pursue higher learning, I look to impart my knowledge to my students as someone who is getting better at every turn.

First establish a timeline, is it a session, a couple weeks, or longtime support
Thusly, review the student's objective and goals and how well they know the subject and are acclimated with
Set expectations for myself and the student, and remind the student to stay consistent, and to work with me, as I work with them.
I have worked with young students, middle aged students, and even older folks as well. I like fresh, diverse faces who come with an attitude ready to learn and improve themselves as time goes on.
Make sure that the teacher/tutor can effectively communicate/articulate to you what you need, someone who is not condescending or arrogant when it comes to the simple things, and takes their time with the complex topics/things.
The ability to perserve in the face of a global pandemic is no easy feat, I find sources of motivation everywhere, and look to self improve. After a recent week, I realized that my students had given me solid reviews after tutoring them, even though most of it was challenging their mind and showing them consistency in their code.

Do I understand that it starts with me to be better, and it ends with me being better?
Can I be accountable to myself, and communicate effectively?
Will I be consistent in my learning and avoid lazy pitfalls?
