About Brooke
I have a master's degree in education with a background in biochemsitry, chemisty, biology, and neuroscience/pharmacology. I am also working on another master's which will be in pharmaceutical sciences, I have tutored for 7 years, both in person and online. I currently work for a pharmaceutical company where I use my knowledge of the sciences daily. I have a passion for teaching and showing students how to love and enjoy learning. I started tutoring when I was in undergraduate school and continued after I finished. I had such a passion for teaching students that I went on to get my Master's of Education.

I first like to get to know them a bit and understand how they learn best. From there I like to see how much of the subject they already know so that I know where to start and how much detail to include.
I have worked with both college and high school students.
Do your research. You aren't going to get along with everyone and that's okay. Select a few profiles and see who you think you would learn from the best.
I graduated with my Master's of Education in December 2019. My 6 month old daughter was there to see me walk the stage. Even though she won't remember that moment, it was important to me because it was the beginning of me showing her that she can do anything that she sets her mind to.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students need to think about what they already know and what they need help with. They should consider how much help they need. Is it a need of in depth knowledge or do they just need a quick refresher? They shoujld also consider how long of a session they would need. Can they focus for long periods of time or do they need short sessions so they have time to absorb what they are learning?
