About Abbie
I have extensive experience in biological sciences, including some tutoring experience. I also have a basic knowledge of a wide variety of other subjects and would be comfortable tutoring most high-school level classes and many college level courses. I tutored college students as part of my job when acquiring my batchelor's degree, as well as assisting classmates throughout my school years. I love helping people learn and understand concepts, and seeing the light bulb come on when something finally "clicks" for them!

Typically I will spend at least a portion of the first session getting to know the student; assessing thier specific needs, finding out what does and does not work for them, and potentially establishing a schedule to work on multiple classes, or to prepare for exams. Mostly I would focus on learning about them and their personality so that I can adjust my methods to fit what they need.
