About Mitchell
I have been training athletes for over 15 years in not just boxing, but also basketball and plyometrics. Honestly, I'm just a friendly guy that loves to teach and train, that resonates with people and we build friendships beyond just training.
I am also an NASM certified PES - Performance Enhancement Specialist.
When I see kids or even adults that I train flourish, it makes me extremely happy. If I could do it for free I would, unfortunately I live in So Cal. 😊🤷🏽♂️😆🌞
I started by volunteering and coaching youth sports. Then when I would play pickup ball, people would always ask, “how do you jump so high?” “How do you move so quick and dribble how you do?” So, I started showing people for a small fee as I worked through college. Then I got certified and here we are.
I have a BA in International Relations with a Minor in Spanish. I speak spanish and english. I have a PES from NASM, that is a Performance Enhancement Specialist from anaccredited training platform school.
I played football, basketball, and baseball at the varsity level, as well as college baseball. Basketball has always been my first love and passion though.
I have trained 100’s of athletes but mostly basketball players in shooting, dribbling, passing, drills, techniques, philosophy, mentality too.

Keep it simple. Be on time, prepared, friendly, eye contact and professional.
I have worked with all ages, boys and girls, including adults out of college. I have trained football, basketball, soccer, baseball, boxers, and some other athletes as well. I believe in cross training.
Make sure the person has credentials and you like their personality.
I recently went to watch UC Davis play UCI in basketball and one of my guys I trained was the PG for Davis. He missed so many free throws! I videod his shot and broke it down, I saw where he was messing up, I told him, sent him a video and his next game he went 11-11 from the line. His mom even texted to thank me. 🤷🏽♂️😊☺️😊
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Be open and speak freely, get the most out of your sessions. But ask questions that pertain to your goals, hopes, and desires. Ask the coach about their history as well, to validate who they are and what they’ve done.

He caters to your needs and goals as an athlete. He takes the time to get to know your strengths and weaknesses and adapt to making you a better athlete. He has a way to encourage and motivate his athletes by pushing them hard to their limit. He leads by example by staying in shape himself and sometimes in better shape than his athletes!
The attention to detail for each excercise and the relationship that grew while we worked out. Also, his ability to push me to limits that I didn’t know I could reach!
He really pushes you to get better and excel.
