About Rhema

Since I could remember I have always been the one helping my friends with concepts that they didn't understand! It really began picking up my senior year of high school when I was studying AP Bio. And from then I have been tutoring anyone and everyone that has needed help in the sciences.

I have been a tutor in biology since 2019. I've always done extremely well in this subject from AP biology to College genetics! And I am excited to help you on your journey as well

About the lesson

Biology is a very visual subject . So I will use a lot of diagrams and picture to better help the student understand pathways. I don't just read of the PowerPoint I will go in depth and stop everytime a student has a question. I also use flash cards, although memorization and knowing the concepts are not the same thing I find it helpful and triggers the mind to remember important concepts. I will get to know the students strengths and weakness and play to their strengths while helping them with their weaknesses. I will make learning as much fun as possible!

Highschool students and college freshmen

However I am qualified to tutor Elementary biology as well!

Perfect! Rhema is a fantastic tutor! She has helped instill confidence for my daughter in high school biology and I see a difference in how she approaches the subject. She is a great fit for my daughter and is flexible about meeting online or in person.
